I started my journey into becoming a chippy in 2011 as a labourer and whilst doing that I decided that building was for me, so I commenced my apprenticeship in May 2013. I became fully qualified in November 2016 & attained my LBP qualification in May 2020.

 I have been on the building scene now for 10 years and still enjoy the friendships, challenges, and rewards it has given me.

MBD builders have given me an opportunity to grow not just in my carpentry skills but also my business mind set. Euan Is a great mentor & leader encouraging us to work hard not just for the business but for our own self growth. As a team MBD builders have a great team atmosphere & have family at the centre of their business. I am grateful for the opportunities they have given me & I look forward to smashing out a lot more high-quality work with them.

I have been in the building trade since 1993 and became a qualified carpenter in 2015. Over that time, I have mainly been doing small 1-to-2-man renovations such as kitchens and bathrooms and other small jobs. 

Working with MBD Builders has given me a good opportunity to gain more experience in the bigger renovations and to expand my skills and experience. I enjoy working with Euan and the rest of the team as they are all a great bunch of guys.

I'm a first-year apprentice.

I started 2020 labouring for a couple different companies that spanned in between lockdowns. Coming out of the 2nd lockdown I signed on with MBD Builders Ltd firstly labouring, and then was offered an apprenticeship. With them I have now signed up to the BCITO apprentice program to become trade qualified. Since starting with MBD Builders, I have worked on a variety of different projects, which is continuing to expand my building experience.

I like that with MBD builders they take the time to make sure things are done right, while also taking the time to teach me the right way to do things and the why behind it.
 

I have been in the building trade for 4 years. I started working in foundation set up first before moving across into building. I began with a commercial building company but found I wasn’t getting the variety of work to gain all aspects of building experience so moved across to residential building with MBD Builders Ltd. 

Working for MBD builders has been a great opportunity to grow and gain experience working in such a small tight knit crew. You get to know everyone and develop great relationships with them and our clients, making it feel like a family. 
 

I’m Jo and I joined the team in 2020 to help with the administration and marketing of the business. Using my previous corporate experience, I am helping to smooth out the processes in the business and freeing up Euan to spend more time meeting with our clients and project management of the sites.

I’m Natasha, I’ve worked with MBD Builders since 2018 and take care of the accounts side of the business. Any queries around invoicing and payments are my area.
